The problem

What TYH does well, and where it falls short for AMFTs

Track Your Hours does the basics right. It logs your hours, sorts them into categories, and checks your supervision requirements. If all you needed was a step up from spreadsheets, it was a reasonable choice. No argument there.

But the AMFT workflow doesn't end at logging. Every week, your supervisor needs to sign your summary. With TYH, that means printing your log, tracking down your supervisor, and getting a pen-on-paper signature. Then you scan the whole thing back in. Every week. For 104 weeks. If you're pursuing both LMFT and LPCC, TYH can't track both, so you'd need two separate accounts. Yes. There's a built-in importer that runs during your SparkHours setup. Your existing TYH hours come over automatically. You don't re-enter anything. SparkHours also detects your TYH paid-through date and gives you free access until it expires, so there's no overlap in billing.

No. When you import from TYH, SparkHours reads your paid-through date and waives its own billing until then. You're covered by TYH through that date, and SparkHours starts charging after. No double-paying.

It does not. With TYH, the signature process is still manual: print the log, bring it to your supervisor, get it signed, scan it back in. SparkHours sends your supervisor a secure link by email.
