SparkHours vs Tevera
Tevera came with your program. SparkHours is built for your license.
Tevera keeps working after you graduate, and your practicum hours are already in it. Here's what it covers on the AMFT track, and where SparkHours is different.
$10/mo · 14-day free trial · No long-term contracts
Switching from Tevera
Your signed Tevera weeks stay signed.
There's no importer between the two, and no file import. Keep your Tevera records for the weeks your supervisor already signed, and start logging here from the week you switch. You paid Tevera once, so nothing is running out while you decide. The trial is 14 days and doesn't ask for a card.

The problem
What Tevera does well, and where it falls short for AMFTs
Tevera does the AMFT basics right, and your practicum hours are already in it. It doesn't shut off when your degree posts. Your account moves to alumni status. It prints the California weekly report and the Experience Verification report for the LMFT track. Your supervisor signs them electronically. That's a real head start.
Where it falls short is who it's built for. Tevera is a placement and accreditation system sold to graduate programs across many disciplines. You get it through your program. Your login stays on your school email until an administrator changes it. So when your school shuts that address off, it takes your login with it. Alumni mode is self-service too. Your school's BBS track and the state track don't update each other. Lining them up is a manual step you run yourself. None of that is hard. It's yours to remember, across the years the Board is counting.
SparkHours is yours from the first day. You sign up on your own email. The account stays yours when your school email shuts off. You enter your graduation date once, and the practicum and associate rules follow it. The AMFT numbers live in the product too. You need 1,750 hours of direct client contact. 500 of those have to be with couples, families, and children. No more than 1,250 can be non-clinical.

What SparkHours adds for AMFT trainees
Signatures with no account for your supervisor
Submit a week and your supervisor gets a secure email link. They review the hours and sign from the link. It takes about a minute, and they never make an account, pick a password, or install anything.
The AMFT minimums, counted as you log
Reaching 3,000 isn't the whole test. You need 1,750 hours of direct client contact. 500 of those have to be with couples, families, and children. No more than 1,250 hours can be non-clinical. SparkHours shows where you stand against each one.
Pre-degree hours, capped the way the Board caps them
LMFT is the one track where practicum hours count toward the 3,000. Up to 1,300 of them, and no more than 750 counseling and supervision combined. Give us your graduation date, and SparkHours applies the practicum rule before it and the associate rule after.
Dual licensure in one account
Working toward both LMFT and LPCC? It's more common than you'd think. SparkHours tracks both with separate dashboards and separate hour totals, on one login.
